Regina’s City Council
Regina’s City Council is made up of 11 elected representatives including a mayor and 10 city councillors.
The mayor is elected at-large by all Regina residents who vote in the civic election. Councillors are elected by voters in the wards they represent. Elections are held every four years. The 2020-2024 Regina City Council was elected on November 9, 2020 and sworn into office on November 23, 2020.
Regina Public Schools' Board of Trustees are elected through a public vote, held every four years. The next general election will be held November 2028
Public Events
City Council meetings are held in City Hall on scheduled Wednesdays beginning at 1 p.m. in Henry Baker Hall. City Council meetings are streamed live on both our Meeting Portal and AccessNow TVand, when community programming permits, televised on Access Communications Channels 7, 20 and 507.
