Spring Gala

Come hear Canadian female powerlifter, April Hutchinson tell her story of how she rose to be an elite athlete in her sport, only to find that she would be competing against biological males. Knowing that this would lead to her not being able to win, she spoke against this unfair competition. Her “reward” was to be suspended from the sport. For more information on April, go to her website, https://www.aprilhutchinson.com. #keepfelamlesportsfemale.

Please consider attending this Gala event. Invite those who you think would benefit from hearing April speak.

Tickets are $55 per person or $400 for a table of 8. You can purchase tickets by emailing your request to RCANN.SK@gmail.com and then e-transfer your payment to the same e-mail address or by mailing a cheque to RCAAN, 305-3850 E Haughton Rd, Regina SK S4V 1M7.

Join this exclusive webinar on how central bank digital currencies threaten freedom

Join us on Tuesday, April 15, at 10 AM (Mountain Time) to learn about central bank digital currencies and chat with the authors about how they threaten your rights and freedoms.

Register now

On March 17 the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms released a new report that explores how a Canadian Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) could undermine Canadians’ rights and freedoms.

The report, “Central Bank Digital Currency? What it is and how it could impact your privacy, security, and autonomy,” reveals that, while politicians promise greater innovation, convenience, access, and security for Canadians, this is only half the story.

A Canadian CBDC will undermine your privacy, autonomy, security, equality, and access to economic participation.

But what does this mean for you? How soon could Canadians see a CBDC implemented? What can Canadians do about it?

Register now to hear from the author, Benjamin Klassen, and privacy expert and contributor to the report, Sharon Polsky MAPP (President of the Privacy & Access Council of Canada), themselves.

Q & A included for all registered guests!

  • When: Tuesday, April 15, 10 AM MDT

  • Where: On Zoom

  • Cost: $4.99

Register now

Our new report is Canada’s most comprehensive analysis of CBDCs and how they threaten your privacy, autonomy, security, and ability to participate in the economy.

Our report frames the Bank of Canada’s exploration of CBDCs within a global context, applying lessons learned from Nigeria, the Caribbean, and other jurisdictions. It measures the negative outcomes of “going cashless” in Australia, Sweden, Finland, Norway, and other jurisdictions.

Our report warns Canadians that promises of heightened security, access, and profitability are, upon closer inspection, misleading. Indeed, a Canadian CBDC will undermine your freedom and human dignity more severely than any other law or policy.

RCAAN Meeting

The next RCAAN meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at 7:00 P.M. at the Break Free Outreach Ministries facility, 766 Angus Street.  Please use the south facing doors into the Drop In Centre.

This month our speaker will be Julia Ellergodt, Interim Director of Defend Dignity.  This organization was founded in Regina in 2010 and has been successfully working to help end sexual exploitation in all its forms.

Sexual exploitation includes commercial sex buying through prostitution, strip clubs, escorts, body rub parlours, and pornography websites. It is also the foundation of online harms like sexploitation, AI deepfakes, and luring/grooming for sex trafficking.

Sexual exploitation undermines the inherent dignity of women, men, and children and is detrimental to a healthy society.  Defend Dignity aims to be a catalyst to help Canadians become informed and involved in the work of ending sexual exploitation. They do this through their Awareness, Aid, and Advocacy efforts.

You will not want to miss this presentation.
