RCAAN May 2026 Update
Greetings RCAAN Members and Friends,
I wanted to send a quick “spring update” before we all get busy with our summer schedules. Thank you so much for your participation, encouragement, and support over this past year. We are very grateful for all that has transpired.
RCAAN Annual Gala: Thank you to all who were a part of our Annual Gala. From every metric, it was a success. We had 157 tickets sold. There were 16 sponsors with donations of cash or silent auction items. Several individuals hosted tables. Many of our members played key roles in ensuring that all had a great time. And John Gormley was outstanding.
Action: Consider what role you might play in making our next big event a success.
Our Next Regular Meeting:
The next RCAAN meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at 7:00 PM in the Small Theater at the Saskatchewan Science Centre, 2903 Powerhouse Drive. Enter through the main entrance and the receptionist will direct you to the theater. The theme for our discussion that evening will be “The Sanctity of Life”.
Action:
Attend this meeting.
Invite others to come with you.
Education IS Discipleship: RCAAN has partnered with the Canadian Christian Education Movement (CCEM) to host a one day seminar on “Education IS Discipleship”. This will occur on Saturday, Nov. 21, 2026. The target audience is parents, grandparents, educators, and community leaders. More details will follow as the program is developed.
Action: Set this day aside in your calendar and plan to attend
MAiD of You? A presentation worth attending Saturday, May 16 - doors open 12:30 pm.
